‘Teach them a lesson’: Bageshwar Dham Baba slams Ranveer Allahbadia amid controversy
Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial remarks about parents during a ‘Would you rather’ question have ignited public outrage and legal scrutiny. Spiritual leader Bageshwar Dham Baba Dhirendra Shastri condemned the remarks, calling for strict action. ...

Expressing his disappointment, he called for strict action against those who, in his view, disrespect Sanatani values. In his statement, he mentioned “teaching them a lesson” and called people who mock Sanantani culture “traitors to the nation.” He urged people not to overlook such statements and emphasized the importance of holding individuals accountable for comments that insult cultural beliefs.
As the backlash grew, Ranveer Allahbadia issued a public apology, acknowledging his lapse in judgment. He stated that his intent was never to promote provocative content or offensive language. However, his apology failed to pacify critics, with many believing that the damage had already been done. The controversy has cost him thousands of followers, and the video that sparked the outrage has since been removed from online platforms.
Adding to the turmoil, comedian Samay Raina, co-host of India’s Got Latent, has deleted all episodes of the show. Addressing the situation, he explained that the intention behind the podcast was always to entertain, but given the way events unfolded, he felt it was best to take down the content from YouTube.
