Taylor Swift just got a new hairstyle, and the fans are already obsessed about it. He is the center of the talking point, as Official Charts shared a new photo of the singer while announcing her latest UK chart achievement.

In the photo, Swift is seen with shorter, shoulder-length hair styled in loose curls. She also wears her signature bangs.

The photo was shared as the Official Charts announced that Swift had scored her fifth Official Chart Double. Her song “Patient Zero” reached No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart, while The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore returned to No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart according to Official Charts announcement.

Why is the photo getting so much attention?

The hairstyle has drawn attention because it is another change from Swift's recent look. Swift had already debuted shorter hair in August. Her latest haircut is even shorter and is styled with curls.

The new look has also led fans to compare it with some of Swift's earlier hairstyles. Just Jared reported that fans were discussing whether the new hair could signal another era. Some fans compared the look with Swift's 1989 and Reputation periods.

Why did Official Charts share the photo?

Along with the Insta post, Official Charts said, “We have an important announcement to make! Taylor Swift secures the Official Chart Double as The Life Of A Showgirl returns to Number 1 and Patient Zero debuts atop the Official Singles Chart.”

This gave Swift her fifth Official Chart Double. She has achieved the feat with five different album-and-single pairings since 2022, according to Official Charts. The Official Charts announcement also said Swift is the only artist to have achieved three UK No. 1 singles in 2026 so far.

The latest look comes shortly after Swift was seen with shorter hair in August. Her hair was also worn shorter during her recent public appearances. The newest photo shows another change, with the length now around her shoulders and the hair styled with curls according to US Magazine report.
