Talwalkar scion to wed Manish Malhotra’s niece Rriddhi Malhotra

The past few weeks were dominated by weddings of scions of high profile corporate families but here’s a wedding that unites the corporate and Bollywood worlds. Tejas Talwalkar, of the family that owns the chain of Talwalkars Gyms, will wed Rriddhi Malhotra — niece of Bollywood fashion designer Manish Malhotra and sister of film director Punit Malhotra. The wedding, confirm members of the Talwalkar family, will take place on December 15, at JW Marriott hotel in Mumbai and will be preceded by mehendi and sangeet functions.

While Tejas is currently involved with the family business, friends close to him say that he is passionate about fi lms and was working with fi lmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar’s production house. He met Rriddhi while they were both assisting Gowarikar on a fi lm. Both the bride and grooms outfi ts will be designed by Manish Malhotra. “The festivities will be attended by close family and friends from both sides", said the family member.
