TalentNext launches online casting platform to connect

MUMBAI: Pooja, a talented actor and dancer from Bhopal, has lost out on many opportunities because she could not make it to Mumbai for auditions on short notice. Pooja and thousands like her who want to be a part of the Indian entertainment industry can now bank on an online recruitment portal.

On Monday, TalentNext Entertainment launched an online casting platform that will work towards streamlining the process of discovering talent in a transparent manner.



It will connect all forms of talent -actorsmodels, dancers, musicians, voiceover artists, etc.with the casting community for films, televisions shows, commercial ad films, live events, theatre (performing arts) and other formats of entertainment, official said.

“Most major production houses are already with us,“ said Shekhar Purohit, CEO at TalentNext Entertainment.

He said TalentNext is a platform for discovery of talent across the media and entertainment (M&E) sector and that multiple movie studios and production houses have already signed exclusive MoUs with the company.
