Taj Mahal on Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi's bucket list

The Uber top boss said that he was warned to stay away from spicy, Indian food on his debut visit.

It may be his first visit to India, but Dara Khosrowshahi has long dreamt of visiting the Taj Mahal. The Uber CEO said that the marble tomb was on his bucket list, as was a trip to the mountains in north India.

“I am also a big hiker so I want to bring my family here and go north and hike in the mountains,” he said at the Economic Times Global Business summit.

Meanwhile, having been warned of spicy food , Khosrowshahi said that he’s a “little afraid” of sampling local cuisine and wasn’t sure what and where he wanted to eat. Perhaps hiking up the mountains will take care of those fears and result in some culinary adventures for the CEO as well.
