Taapsee Pannu turns biker for her next multi-lingual project

Taapsee Pannu, who is making her Kannada film debut with director Nagshekhar's upcoming multi-lingual project, will be seen as a biker chick in the movie.
The film, titled Raja Rani initially, with Chetan in the lead in the Kannada and Malayalam versions, is now called Gadiyara, and will take off in October. "I played a biker in one of my earliest films in Telugu, Mr Perfect.

I am excited that I get to do something more here, as the role is far more substantial," she says. Taapsee, though, adds that she isn’t allowed to own a bike in real life. "I have taken my friends’ bikes for rides, but my parents never allowed me to get one for myself, as they think bikes are unsafe. Personally, though, I love bikes,” says the actress,who will be seen in a bike race sequence in this film.
