Sud loved his first car a lot and with a heavy heart, he let it go in 2004.
Pratik Sud, Co-Founder, Synq.fit bike bought his first car while pursuing undergrad in Texas in 2003.
"I was highly influenced by the Fast and the Furious movies where a modified version of the 2000 Honda Civic Hx car was used. I went against my parents’ wishes and worked on-campus to save for it. After a few months of struggle, I was finally able to buy my own red two-door 2000 Honda Civic Hx for US$ 6500. It was a joy driving it. I used it for two years as it accompanied me on many road trips across Texas," he says.
Memories
Sud loved his first car a lot and with a heavy heart, he let it go in 2004. "I still remember that day when I was upset about separating from my first car, but also excited to get on the new Audi A4 petrol 2.0t. Driving this car was a completely different experience. But, I still miss my red car," he says.
For everyday use, Sud has a dark grey Mercedes E 250 (2019). "The other cars I own include an Audi Q7 45 tdi (2019), a white Nissan Teana V6 (2014), and a dark green Triumph Bobber bike 1200cc (2018). One of my most memorable trips remains the ten day road trip across Italy in 2018. The car I had booked was given out to someone else and to my surprise I was upgraded to an Alfa Romeo Giulia at the last moment. It was the most Italian holiday imaginable as we drove from Rome across Tuscany and Florence. It was an amazing experience," he says.
Dreams

The new Mercedes Benz GLE 53 coup is currently Sud's dream car. "It has the perfect amount of power, sportiness and an ability to tackle the challenging Indian roads as well," he shares.
Sud was in awe when he saw the car chase scene in the movie 'Ronin'. "It featured a late 1990’s Audi S8 and made me a big Audi fan till date. One of our managers at Synq.Fit, Sahil Verma, is a big car enthusiast. I learn a lot from him about the upcoming technologies and the pros and cons of different models. Interestingly, we always end up making a top five list in each category," he says.
Tip
Put the extra time and effort required to look for a covered or an underground parking space, especially if it is going to be there for long hours is what Sud suggests for car care.

"Keeping the car away from the sun, especially when it’s for a long period, adds years to the paint job and keeps your car looking new. Personally, I believe that the car makers are doing a good job at naming the cars. But, if I had enough cars, naming them according to the different ‘moods’ while driving doesn’t seem to be a bad idea," he says with a chuckle.
To a big award evening, Sud would like to arrive in a shining new Green Mercedes AMG GT.
