Synechron CEO used lockdown to focus on health; says physical fitness incomplete without diet control

Many of us pined for a relaxing massage at the salon or for a grooming expert to tame the facial fuzz during the lockdown, but not Faisal Husain. The Synechron CEO says he didn’t miss a trip to the salon one bit, and with good reason: He has all the experience himself. “I am not much of a spa person and as far as grooming goes, I’ve been trimming and styling my hair myself for eight years,” he says.

The lockdown provided Husain an opportunity to focus on his health, he reveals. “I have an elliptical machine, which helps me achieve my cardio target. And it’s fun,” he adds.

Physical fitness cannot be complete without diet control.


“My fitness regimen definitely went up a notch during this period of time. Apart from exercising, my interest in healthy eating has also gone up. I like to keep it simple and basic. I make sure to include a lot of fresh fruit as part of my diet. Eating right has always been one of my mantras,” he says.
