LOS ANGELES: Sylvester Stallone has refuted reports that he would appear in Indian remake of ' Rambo', which features Tiger Shroff in the lead role.

The 71-year-old Hollywood star confirmed to Deadline that he absolutely was not taking part in Shroff's ' First Blood', a redo of the 1982 film that launched the Rambo franchise.

Through a spokesperson, Stallone stated "any involvement in Tiger Sharoff's Rambo is not happening, under any circumstances. I wish them well on their own," he said.

Stallone is currently busy with "Creed" sequel for MGM and is writing the script.

"Rambo" remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
