Swear by sunscreen… even when it rains
As a ground rule, you must apply sunscreen on all exposed parts of your body, whether the sun is beating down on you or sneaking behind gloomy clouds.

1. UVA rays never take a break: As hard as it may be for you to feel the slightest warmth on a rainy day, know that harmful Ultra Violet rays can still get through those clouds and damage your skin. A quick smear of water proof sun block will do the trick.
2. Delay wrinkles: Damp skin is more vulnerable to damage caused by UVA rays. Ditch the sunscreen and before you know it, you'll have more wrinkles around your eyes, nose and forehead than you bargained for.
3. Cancer control: Sunscreen helps fight skin pigmentation and more importantly, reduces the risk of contracting skin cancer caused by prolonged exposure to UV rays. Hollywood actors Hugh Jackman and Diane Keaton, amongst those who have battled skin cancer, stress about the importance of applying sunscreen.
