Suzuki's GIXXER SF 250 MotoGP editon comes to India at Rs 1.71 lakh

The price tag of Rs 1,71,456 is ex-showroom Delhi, and will be available from today.

Suzuki believes that the blue colour has always been their identity of spirit and passion for racing.
Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan's MotoGP edition of GIXXER SF 250 will see legendary motorcycles - GSX-R and Hayabusa's style and engineering cues on display.

The two-wheeler has the same blue colour and livery of the Moto GP team's bike, the GSX-R. It also has the MotoGP bike's ecstar decals and distinctive wheel pin stripes.

At the bike launch, Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, "The blue colour has always been the identity of Suzuki’s spirit and passion for racing. The contemporary styling coupled with sporty design and high performance engine powered with innovative SOCS technology, further enhances the racing character of the motorcycle."

Features of the 249cc bike include Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine. This provides amplified functionality with SEP technology. All these will help performance and fuel efficiency of the bike on the road.

The bike has an engine that has been exclusively developed for India. The features are high power output of 26.5ps@9000rpm and 22.6Nm@7500rpm. There is also a fully digital speedo meter, LED headlamps and tail lamps, sporty dual muffler, premium brushed finish alloy wheels and rear tyre hugger.

The new oil cooling technology is lightweight and the fast engine provides heightened performance. This helps smooth acceleration, high output, compactness, low fuel consumption, high durability and ease of maintenance.
