Sushmita Sen is a doting mother to her eldest daughter, Renee. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Main Hoon Na’ star recently dropped a heartwarming video, where she was seen dancing gracefully with her Renee. The two appeared to be on the terrace of their home.

At the age of 24, Sushmita made the life-changing decision to become a mother by adopting her first daughter, Renee, in 2000. A decade later, she welcomed her second daughter, Alisah, into her family through adoption.

In 2021, following in her mother’s footsteps, Renee ventured into acting, making her debut in a short film. Reflecting on her journey as a mother, Sushmita once shared in a conversation at FICCI Hyderabad how adopting her daughters brought immense fulfillment and purpose to her life.
