Ankita's mother-in-law, in an interview with ABP News, expressed her concern, suggesting that Ankita might be using Sushant's name on Bigg Boss 17 to gain sympathy from the public.However, Ankita's mother, Vandana Lokhande, defended her daughter in an interview with Galatta India, stating that Ankita never talks about Sushant on her own and only responds when asked. Vandana shared, "Ankita and Sushant lived together for seven years in this house with me. She truly loved him... Ankita never talked about Sushant on her own."
