The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is interrogating Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty, at the DRDO guesthouse where the CBI officials are staying, TimesNow reported on Monday. There are several people who have been taken to the DRDO guesthouse for questioning and one of them happens to be Showik.

In another development, according to a report in TimesNow, the agency is also questioning the staff at Waterstone resort, where the actor had spent two months for 'spiritual healing'. The timeline of Rajput's stay at the resort, however, remains unclear.

According to news agency PTI, a CBI team on Monday reached the Waterstone Resort in suburban Andheri for questioning its staff in connection with the probe into his death. The probing team went to the resort on Sunday also, but left as its staff members were not there.
The CBI is also likely to question model-turned-actress, Rhea today. According to a report on Times Now, the central investigation agency has issued summons to Rhea and her father Indrajit Chakraborty for appearing before it.

The CBI is likely to question the model-turned-actress about her relationship with the 34-year-old actor and if she took any financial decisions on his behalf, Times Now reported. The central agency is likely to quiz her if she administered any medicines, prescribed by her father Indrajit to Rajput and if she had set up any medical consultation for him. The CBI is also likely to ask Chakraborty if she had kept the actor’s family in the know about his health status and that he was keeping ‘unwell’ and had been admitted to Hinduja hospital. The agency is also likely to ask whether she had signed any movie with Rajput.

Earlier, this month, the actress, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and her father Indrajit Chakraborty, was interrogated twice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).The ED is investigating ‘suspicious transactions’ in connection with Rajput’s bank account, following an FIR registered by Rajput’s father KK Singh in Patna.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the CBI had visited the actor’s Bandra residence for the second day in a row along with the deceased’s friend Siddharth Pithani, staff Neeraj Singh and Dipesh Sawant.
The CBI had also brought along a forensic team and pieced together the evidence that they had collected a day before.
The CBI team continued the questioning of his flatmate Pithani and personal staff Singh and Sawant on Sunday as it found some "inconsistencies" in their statements, as per sources.
