Surreal: When Cate Blanchett handed her perfume to a taxi driver!

LONDON: Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett has revealed that she once gifted her exclusive bottle of Armani Prive perfume to a taxi driver.

The 47-year-old actress said the driver had complimented her about the perfume and expressed a desire to buy one for his girlfriend. Blanchett was concerned that he would not be able to find the exclusive fragrance.

"A cabbie once asked me what fragrance I was wearing, because it was his girlfriend's birthday. And I was so touched that I gave him the bottle.''

"It was actually a very exclusive Armani Prive scent and I didn't have another one, but I had to give it to him because I thought he would never find it," she told Evening Standard magazine.
