Suriya’s Kanguva OTT release date officially announced. When and where to watch and check language versions

Kollywood star Suriya's much-anticipated film Kanguva hit theatres on November 14, 2024, amid soaring expectations. Despite the hype and a stellar cast, the film struggled to win over fans and critics, receiving mixed reviews for its storytelling and execution. Now, the film is all set to hit the OTT platform soon.

In an effort to reach a wider audience, Amazon Prime Video has announced that Suriya's Kanguva will debut on its platform on December 8, 2024. The OTT release will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, with the Hindi version's release date still awaiting confirmation. With its lacklustre box-office performance, all eyes are on how the film fares with streaming audiences.



The movie boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Suriya in the lead alongside Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and veteran actor KS Ravi Kumar. Adding to the excitement, Karthi makes a special cameo appearance. Produced on a lavish scale by Studio Green and UV Creations, the film features music composed by the renowned Devi Sri Prasad.

The OTT release provides the film with a second chance to connect with audiences and potentially redeem its reputation.
