The studio has largely followed a consistent release pattern for its recent titles, making HBO Max the home for new DC films once their cinema run is over.

Based on Warner Bros.' previous release strategy, Supergirl is likely to debut on HBO Max around two to three months after its theatrical release.

A similar approach was followed for Superman (2025), which arrived on HBO Max roughly two months after opening in cinemas. If Supergirl follows the same schedule, viewers could expect its streaming debut as early as August 2026. However, Warner Bros. has not announced an official release date, so the timeline remains an estimate.

As to when and where the movie will stream in India, there is no official confirmation yet.

Supergirl marks the second theatrical release in James Gunn and Peter Safran's revamped DC Universe. According to reports, the film collected around $38 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend and earned approximately $68 million worldwide.
