Pushpa 2 Stampede Tragedy
The event follows the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4. During an unscheduled visit by actor Allu Arjun to greet fans attending a screening of Pushpa 2, a stampede broke out, resulting in the death of a woman and critical injuries to her nine-year-old son.Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the incident and placed in 14-day judicial custody. Hours later, he secured interim bail for four weeks, posting a bond of Rs 50,000. However, police officials have since stated their intent to challenge the bail, citing video evidence allegedly showing negligence on the part of the actor’s team.

According to authorities, Allu Arjun was advised to leave the theatre as the situation escalated, but he reportedly stayed, leading to the chaos. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey.”
