Getting your hands on the keys to a sprawling business empire respected by all is a tantalizing prospect. Cue succession drama. Just a night before the eventual successor was recently named, a very private dinner was organised for a select few in an effort to influence the agenda of the upcoming meeting, scheduled for the next afternoon. Those efforts appear to have failed and a decision was promptly made to appoint the chosen one—another soft-spoken gentleman—a move that’s been lauded universally.
