On January 15, Rohan Murty unveiled the titles that are being published by the Murty Classical Library of India. Later, during a chat with his mother, Sudha Murty, we asked her which of those titles would be high up on her reading list and pat came the response — Akbarnama.

“It (Akbarnama) has been translated into English before, but that was Victorian English. MCLI’s translation is more contemporary,” says Sudha Murty.
