Corporate couture is defined by charismatic leaders and their personal style. The Economic Times Startup Awards 2016 held in Bengaluru on September 3 became the perfect platform to browse key offline looks trending currently in the business circles. Away from the boardroom, three looks dominated at the awards.

Most of India’s top guns ditched the tie, making a rebellious statement spelling self-expression. These dressed-down bosses included Ola’s Bhavish Aggarwal, Infosys co-founders Nandan Nilekani and Kris Gopalakrishnan, Zerodha’s Nithin Kamath, award-winning investor Avnish Bajaj, Cure fit’s Mukesh Bansal, Google’s Rajan Anandan, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant and Mahindra Reva’s Chetan Maini.

After politics, the Modi jacket has become a style statement even in the corporate world. So, apart from ministers Nitin Gadkari and Priyank Kharge, Agrostarco-founder Shardul Sheth and Mindtree co-founder Krishnakumar Natarajan also donned the smart neta-look.
