' Stranger Things' (the TV show) garnered a huge fan following with just one season. Now, with the second season airing on October 31, the buzz is at an all-time high. To cash in on the buzz, an official game has been released.

Like the series, the game has an 80s vibe — it has retro style 8-bit graphics and sound effects. You get to play as various characters from the TV show, each with their own unique ability. The storyline is also same as the TV show — you start with looking for Hopper who has gone missing in the town of Hawkins and the game progresses like the TV show. As you explore the various locations, you have to collect keycards, clues and get rid of enemies.

The gameplay is simple but needs you to pay constant attention to find clues in order to clear a level. What we also liked was that there are no pesky advertisements. The game serves merely to drum up some hype for the show.
