Stick Sprint review: A game that puts you straight into the driver's seat

An arcade-style racing game with over 200 racetracks that need to be unlocked.

Free for iOS & Android

Stick Sprint is from developers Stick Sports — the same guys who make the popular Stick Tennis and Stick Cricket games. This one is an arcade-style racing game with over 200 racetracks that need to be unlocked as you progress. The game puts you straight into the driver seat with racetracks in various cities. In each city, you have to win three rounds: one against a rookie driver, another against a pro and the third against an elite driver of the level.

The controls are simple: swipe left/right to turn and swipe up to change gears or go faster. If you don’t time the swipes at the right moment, you will crash and lose. Like with so many fast-paced games, precision timing is key. As you beat the other racers, you earn experience points, cash, gold coins and locked boxes (boxes contain extra benefits including connector tiles).

You need connector tiles to fill gaps on the worldwide map. Ergo, you can move to the next city only when you have added a connector tile between two cities. Gameplay is fun and the fact that you can access hundreds of tracks by connecting new cities on the map makes it hard to put down once you start. We also liked that there are no intrusive ads in the game. Definitely worth your time.
