Bigg Boss 20 house follows the theme of duality
20 seasons later, the Bigg Boss house continues to be an important part of the reality show. This year, however, the makers have taken the design in a more imaginative direction. The central idea behind the new house is duality, with several elements showing two different sides. The concept also shows the contestants who will eventually live inside the house. While they may appear one way on the surface, the reality show is designed to bring out different sides of their personalities. The house therefore combines familiar home interiors with unusual, fantasy-inspired details.

According to a JioHotstar video offering a glimpse inside the house, there had been several theories about this season’s design, including rumours of an animal or forest theme. However, the final house is much more playful and imaginative. It blends realistic spaces with elements that look as if they have come from a fantasy world.
The result is a house that can remind visitors of places such as Oz or Wonderland. Ordinary objects have been given unexpected forms, making even familiar corners stand out.
Sharks, snakes and quirky furniture take over the house
The sprawling lawn remains one of the most important areas in the Bigg Boss house. This is where contestants will likely take part in tasks, plan strategies, celebrate wins and, inevitably, get into arguments. But the space comes with some unusual additions. One of the biggest attractions is a giant shark head positioned near the pool. The shark-themed area adds a dramatic touch to the otherwise colourful setting. Animal-inspired elements can also be seen in several other parts of the house, with snakes, gorillas and owls appearing in the decor.

The furniture is equally unusual. One of the standout pieces is a teapot that appears to pour out a couch with soft pink cushions. There are also couches inspired by hot-air balloons and a large round seating area placed in front of a television screen.
Another interesting design element is an octopus holding chess pieces. The combination appears to connect the idea of strategy with the house’s larger theme of duality. An octopus, with its multiple arms, also fits into the idea of having more than one side or approach.
A floral area houses a shark pool at its centre, creating an interesting contrast between soft floral surroundings and the sharp image of a predator. A round dining table has also been placed between the kitchen and the main seating area.
Why are there so many eyes inside the Bigg Boss house?
Perhaps the most striking feature of the new house is the sheer number of eyes. They appear on walls, around corners and across different artworks, constantly reminding contestants of the central rule of the show - Bigg Boss is always watching.
The design includes different kinds of eyes, from animal eyes to evil-eye-inspired elements. They add to the slightly mysterious and quirky appearance of the house while fitting neatly into the larger concept.
Two new rooms are also part of the Season 20 house. They have been named 2X and Room No. 20, but what lies behind their doors has not been revealed yet. Their mystery could become another talking point once the contestants enter the house.
With its combination of fantasy, animals, unusual furniture and watchful eyes, the new Bigg Boss house is clearly designed to be more than just a backdrop. Stay tuned!
