Stand-up comedian Russell Peters to visit India

MUMBAI: Indo-Canadian stand-up comedian Russell Peters is set to visit India next year, as a part of his Almost Famous World Tour.

Peters, 44, will perform in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai in February.

The Almost Famous World Tour will open at New York's Madison Square Garden as well as Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre before it comes to India.

The tour is produced in India by Only Much louder (OML), the company behind The Russell Peters Notorious World Tour in 2013. OML is bringing the tour as a part of its festival 'Stage42'.

"After an amazing tour last year, we are really excited to bring back Russell Peters to India for Stage42. Without doubt Russell is the most popular stand-up comedian in India and we are glad that we will have him headline our new festival," said Says Vijay Nair, CEO, OML.
