SS Rajamouli once called Prabhas ‘too lazy’ to get married; Baahubali star admitted, ‘I can’t meet people...’

Prabhas' marriage has remained a topic of curiosity among fans, with the actor still unmarried at 46. While the Baahubali star has often been asked about his wedding plans, he has also spoken about his shy and introverted nature. Director SS Rajamouli once offered a humorous explanation for why Prabhas had not tied the knot, saying that finding a woman and approaching her parents would be too much effort. Prabhas, meanwhile, has admitted that meeting people is not something he finds easy.

SS Rajamouli's take on Prabhas' marriage plans

During an appearance on Koffee With Karan alongside SS Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati, Prabhas was asked about his unmarried status. The filmmaker described him as “very shy and introverted” and jokingly suggested that he was too lazy to get married.

Rajamouli said that finding a girl and speaking to her parents would involve too much work for the actor. “That's why he isn't getting married,” the RRR director remarked.

Prabhas admits he struggles to meet people

Prabhas has also spoken candidly about his personality. During an interview with Film Companion, Anupama Chopra asked him about his reportedly lazy and shy behaviour.

The actor laughed and admitted that he was “lazy, shy and can't meet people”. He even wondered whether these traits made him suited to the film industry. However, he credited Baahubali with changing things for him, saying that after the film's success, he no longer had the option of staying away.

Does Prabhas get irritated by wedding questions?

In an exclusive conversation with India Today Digital, Prabhas revealed that people ask him about marriage wherever he goes. However, he said he does not get irritated by the questions.

The actor explained that he understands they come from a place of concern and considers them natural. He added that he would probably ask the same question if he were in their position.
