Sridevi's 'English Vinglish' co-star Sujata Kumar succumbs to metastatic cancer
The actress will be cremated at the Mumbai's Juhu Crematorium.

Sujata Kumar played the role of Sridevi's sister in 'English Vinglish'.
Actress Sujata Kumar, who played the role of Sridevi's sister in the movie 'English Vinglish', passed away after battling fourth stage cancer. She had been admitted in the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.
The news was confirmed by Sujata's sister, actor and singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. Through a twitter post, Suchitra broke the news to the world.
It read, “Our beloved Sujata Kumar has passed away and moved on to a better place leaving us with an umimaginable void. She left us an hour ago at 11.26 pm on the 19th of august 2018..Life can never be the same again...”

Through a Facebook post, Krishnamoorthi shared that the late actor will be cremated at the Juhu Crematorium. Her post read, "“We are bidding our last farewell to Sujata Kumar at Juhu Crematorium, Vile Parle west, near Pavan Hans today 20th august 2018 at 11 am."

The 'English Vinglish' actor had been suffering from an advance stage cancer which had been metastasised . Her condition had deteriorated and she reportedly went through multiple organ failure. Sujata had been a cancer survivor in the past.
