Sridevi's death anniversary: Boney, Anil Kapoor hold 'puja' at her Chennai home

The Kapoor family reached Chennai from Mumbai for the 'puja'.

Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, on Thursday, held a puja at his late actress-wife Sridevi's Chennai home on her first death anniversary. The family, including his daughters Janhvi and Khushi, and brother Anil Kapoor along with wife Sunita, reached Chennai for the ceremony. According to the Hindu calendar, February 14 is reportedly the 'tithi' of the actress's death.

Pictures from the puja started doing the rounds on social media. South Indian actor Ajith and wife Shalini also paid tribute to the actress.




The 'Chandni' actress passed away on February 24 last year. The sudden news of her demise had left, both, her family and fans in shock. She passed away after drowning in the bathtub of her hotel in Dubai, where she was staying with her husband after attending a family wedding.
