Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oukitel has taken it upon themselves to solve the battery issue on smartphones. Their solution is a phone with a massive 10,000mAh battery! The company claims that the phone will last up to 10 days on a single charge. Other specifications are decidedly mediocre. You get a 5.5-inch HD display, quad core Mediatek MT6753 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and dual SIM support. There is a 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and it runs Android 5.1. The phone will be available in China from January onwards for about US$240.
Red Scarlet-W
At US$9,950, the Scarlet-W is the cheapest camera offering from Red with 5k video recording. This is the price of the body only. Weighing 1.6kg, the camera uses the company's 13.8Mp CMOS Red Dragon sensor and is capable of recording slow-motion videos in 4k resolution at150 fps and 2K resolutions at 300 fps. You get an interchangeable lens mount, intelligent OLPF system, integrated dual microphones, built-in WiFi and HDMI out.
