Spotify’s new 20-year throwback feature reveals your first ever stream
Spotify has introduced a new anniversary feature called “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s),” giving users a personalized look back at their listening history. The in-app experience reveals details such as the first song a user ever streamed, t...

The experience is now live inside the Spotify app and functions almost like a digital music time capsule. Users can see the very first day they joined Spotify, the first song they ever streamed, the total number of unique songs they’ve listened to over the years, and their all-time most-streamed artist.
One of the more interesting additions is the “All-Time Top Songs” playlist, which compiles a listener’s 120 most-played tracks along with individual play counts. It is essentially Spotify Wrapped, but stretched across an entire listening lifetime instead of a single year.
Spotify has also built the experience with sharing in mind. Every stat card can be exported directly to social platforms like Instagram, making it clear the company expects users to turn their listening history into social content almost immediately.
Alongside the personalized data drop, Spotify also published a snapshot of the most-streamed artists, albums, songs, and podcasts in the platform’s history, offering a broader look at how streaming habits have evolved globally over the past two decades.
Among artists, Taylor Swift currently leads Spotify’s all-time streaming rankings, followed by Bad Bunny, Drake, and The Weeknd. On the albums side, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti sits at the top of the charts.
Meanwhile, Blinding Lights has officially become Spotify’s most-streamed song ever, ahead of tracks like Shape of You and Sweater Weather.
Spotify says the feature is designed to celebrate both listeners and artists who helped shape music culture on the platform over the last 20 years. Users can access the experience by searching “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” inside the Spotify mobile app.
