Emerging study destination
“Education is the only way to bring countries closer together and with the increasing number of Indian students who want to study abroad, I see Spain as an emerging ‘Study Abroad’ destination,” says education counsellor Dr Karan Gupta. Gupta, a former alumnus of IE, is also the managing director of the IE South Asia office.

“At IE University in Spain, innovation and entrepreneurship are ingrained in all our courses and this is what attracts a large number of Indian students to IE. Taking into account the financial challenges that students are facing due to the pandemic, we are offering special scholarships for Indian students,” he adds.
