Soundarya Rajinikanth receives flak on Twitter for honeymoon post after Pulwama attack

Actress Kajol made it to Soundarya Rajinikanth's lavish reception party. The 'Helicopter Eela' actress wore a red saree to the event and was seen posing with her newlywed BFF.

Superstar Rajinikanth's director-daughter Soundarya tied the knot with actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi in a grand wedding ceremony at The Leela Palace in Chennai on Monday.

A star-studded guest list included the big names of the Tamil film fraternity, and the state's chief minister, E Palaniswami. The film industry, represented by Kamal Haasan, Mohan Babu, Prabhu, Aditi Rao Hydari and Manjima Mohan, were also present to bless the newlyweds.

Soundarya Rajinikanth (M) also shared a picture with her make-up artist Prakruthi Ananth (L) and hair stylist Kiara (R) on her official Twitter handle. The bride thanked her team of girls for dressing her up on her D-day.

The 34-year-old bride opted for a pink, Kancheepuram silk saree by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla after the wedding rituals were completed. Diamond and emerald jewellery complimented the traditional look.

Singer-music composer Anirudh Ravichander also attended the wedding of Soundarya Rajinikanth. The 'Why This Kolaveri Di' composer shared an adorable picture with the bride which she later retweeted expressing love for her 'brother'.

The bride shared a still from the ceremony when she became Soundarya Vishagan Vanangamudi as the groom ties her a mangalsutra. In this picture, she seemed to shed a tear of joy and the groom offered comfort to his better half during an emotional and sensitive moment.
