Soon you'll be able to make WhatsApp voice and video calls from desktop. Here's how it will work
The feature on web application got noticed after a tech enthusiast shared it on his Twitter account.

Earlier in October 2020, the application announced its plans to enable video and voice calling features for web and desktop applications. The feature was rolled out for select beta testers and some non-beta testers. If the latest reports are to be believed, the application will soon make the feature available for all.
The development came after technology enthusiast Mukul Sharma shared a screenshot of the feature. Sharma’s screenshot showed a video and voice call icon adjacent to the search icon at the top of the chat window. The feature was seen on the browser and not on the web app.

Besides, it has also rolled out a new voice call interface for its beta users. Another feature that is being developed will let users of WhatsApp Business set cover photos for their profile.
According to a report on WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp Business users will get a new function wherein users will be able to set photos as cover images similar to those on Facebook and LinkedIn.The feature is reportedly under development and regular users are unlikely to get access to it.
