Sonali Bendre celebrates 2020 with a unique family trip to Amritsar
The actor was accompanied by her husband Goldie Behl, son Rocky and mother-in-law Bubbles.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre rang in 2020 in a special way. Along with her family, she visited Amritsar to celebrate the New Year.
The 45-year-old actress took to Instagram to share pictures of her 'epic family trip'. She said that the Amritsar trip was to give her son Rocky a glimpse into his roots.
Her son and husband Goldie Behl got the turban tied before entering the Golden Temple. Behl shared pictures from the trip on his Instagram handle as well.
Bendre, along with her husband, walked through the bylanes of Amritsar after visiting the Golden Temple where her father-in-law Ramesh grew up - Tunda Talab, Gali Munshia in Amritsar. Behl in his post said that it was an emotional moment for his mother, Bubbles, who also accompanied the family on the Amritsar trip. The 45-year-old film-maker said that his mom visited the place after 45 years. However, it was the first time for Bendre and Rocky.

"Life has truly come a full circle from these bylanes of Amritsar to the city of Mumbai, but reconnecting with your roots and heritage is always so wonderful," he added.
The happy family took a trip to the Wagah Border as well. In one of her several post, the 'Sarfarosh' actor shared a picture with the 'woman in uniform'. Describing them as strong and confident, she said that they instill a feeling of pride and thanked them for their service. "Made the trip to the #WagahBorder so much more special. Was a pleasure to meet them and see them lead the march for the flag retreat ceremony," her last post read.
Concluding her post, she said the trip was everything they'd hoped it would be. "Heading back home, feeling blessed and refreshed," she added
