SoftBank’s Masayoshi Son & Uber’s Travis Kalanick expected at the unveiling of the Start-up India Stand Up India initiative
The buzz is escalating over the grand unveiling of the Start-up India Stand Up India initiative on January 16 in New Delhi. Apart from the nearly 2,000 start-up and venture capital leaders expected, there are international corporate stars like SoftBank’s Masayoshi Son, Uber’s Travis Kalanick and WeWork’s Adam Neumann.

Amongst the organisers is NASSCOM, so ETPanache has learnt that its executive council member Ravi Gururaj, as well as MakeMyTrip’s Deep Kalra have been approached to be MCs at the event. What’s more, Gururaj may be privy to some Uber information — he could be interviewing Kalanick for the forum. What’s to be seen is where else Kalanick will be headed once work is done and it’s time for play.
