The two electronic producers indulged into an argument on Twitter over Deadmau5's record label, reported Digital Spy.
Skrillex (Sonny John Moore), who got support from Deadmau5 - real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman, shared good terms during the beginning of his career.
"I don't care about your personal career but the fact that you own your own record label is sad. I feel sorry the artists you've signed," he wrote on Twitter.
He then slammed his leadership qualities, though he also said, "I'm forever grateful for the mau5's early support but the reality is sad. He's shrivelling In his own pile of hateful (shit)."
Deadmau5, 34, then took a jibe at Skrillex's recent collaborations with Justin Bieber.
He tweeted:
@Skrillex tell you what. Lemme borrow the lil popstar for a week, mash together a radio hit in 23 minutes, and will be good label! Yay!
