Six tips to deal with a jealous girlfriend
Every guy has a current or an ex who has been the jealous pot. While we aren't sure what causes the jealousy, we can help you deal with it like a gentleman:

Don't say 'You're crazy' to her

You never, to the power of infinity, say this to your girl. You may be stressed, and so is she, but calling her crazy is unacceptable. The trick is to prevent a fullblown argument. Smile and hear her out, give her hugs and calm her down.

Meeting the enemy

If she insists on meeting the 'female late night colleague', by all means arrange it. There's nothing for you to hide, right? Call your co-workers, including the 'mysterious woman' over for lunch or dinner, and let your beau socialise with them too.

Women love TLC

Maybe you aren't showing her enough love and are talking a little too much about your boss's wife. Stop right now. Social media can come to your rescue, and it won't make you less of a man if you flaunt your love once in a while by posting love notes, pictures and anything that would make her feel like you are into her.

Figuratively be her

Women are hard to understand right? No, they aren't that tough — the aim here is to talk things out with her. Maybe she's dealing with something from her past, and is unable to talk to you about it. Your actions and words should tell her that she's in a safe place.

Change your behaviour

Stop acting shady. Don't take all your calls by stepping out of the room, or do not lie about meeting a woman over a drink for work. Insecurity leads to jealousy, and one lie from you can mess it all up for the days ahead.

Make her meet the ex

More often than not, men do keep in touch with their ex-girlfriends. Maybe you still like to connect with the 'friend' she was first before she became your 'lover' and then your 'ex'. While that is perfectly acceptable behaviour, make sure your current is well-informed about your ex.
