Obsession
If you missed Obsession in theatres, you can now watch it by renting or purchasing it on Premium Video-on-Demand platforms. Directed by Curry Barker, the psychological horror film became one of 2026's biggest box office successes, earning over $300 million globally.
The digital release also comes with bonus features, including a behind-the-scenes featurette and an audio commentary by Barker. The film's DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD editions are scheduled to arrive on July 14. While Obsession is currently available only as a paid PVOD title, reports suggest it is expected to stream on Peacock later this year, although an official date has not yet been announced.
Hokum
If haunted houses are your favourite horror setting, Hokum deserves a place on your watchlist. The supernatural thriller stars Adam Scott in the lead role and is currently available to rent or buy on major PVOD platforms. Reports suggest it is also expected to arrive on Hulu later in 2026.
Directed by Damian McCarthy, the film follows Ohm, a man who becomes trapped inside a mysterious Irish hotel filled with dark secrets and supernatural forces. As strange events unfold, he must solve a murder mystery before becoming the hotel's next victim.
Send Help
Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi returned to the horror genre this year with Send Help, a survival thriller packed with suspense and dark humour. The film stars Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien and is currently streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. It is also available to rent or purchase on digital platforms such as Amazon Video and Apple TV.
The story revolves around two office rivals whose lives change after a plane crash leaves them stranded on a deserted island. Forced to work together despite their differences, they battle dangerous conditions while trying to stay alive.
They Will Kill You
For viewers who enjoy action mixed with horror, They Will Kill You delivers plenty of thrills. The film stars Zazie Beetz, Patricia Arquette and Tom Felton and is available through PVOD services, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max in selected regions.
Directed by Kirill Sokolov, the horror-action film follows a woman who accepts a housekeeping job at a luxurious New York high-rise. She soon discovers that the wealthy residents belong to a terrifying demonic cult, turning an ordinary job into a desperate fight for survival.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Fans of zombie horror can stream 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple on Netflix. The film is also available to rent or buy through Prime Video and ZEE5.
Directed by Nia DaCosta from a screenplay by Alex Garland, the latest chapter in the long-running franchise stars Ralph Fiennes and Alfie Williams. The story follows Dr. Kelson as he searches for a cure in a devastated world, while a young survivor struggles to escape the violent cult led by Jimmy Crystal. The sequel combines emotional storytelling with brutal survival horror.
Backrooms
According to several reports, Backrooms will make its digital debut on Premium Video-on-Demand platforms worldwide from July 7, where viewers will be able to rent or purchase it through services such as Prime Video and Apple TV.
