Singer Kanika Kapoor shares health update with fans, ‘hopes’ her fifth coronavirus test is negative

The ‘Babydoll’ singer said she is waiting to go home to family and friends.

The ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ singer had tested positive for Covid-19 for the first time on March 20.

Singer Kanika Kapoor, who recently tested positive for coronavirus for the fourth time, took to Instagram on Monday to share a health update with her fans. The 41-year-old singer reassured her fans that she is going ‘fine’ and that is ‘not in the ICU’.

"Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative," wrote Kapoor.

Kapoor also wrote that she is waiting to go home to her family and kids.

The ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ singer had tested positive for Covid-19 for the first time on March 20. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi PostGraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow.

On March 21, the singer was booked for negligence by the UP Police. Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19 for the second and the third time on March 24 and March 28 respectively.
