There’s no dearth of adventure in Sunil Rohokale’s life. The CEO of ASK Group has ticked off wildlife safaris, volcanic expedition and bustling cities across the world from his list. So this time around, Rohokale chose to go local — Sikkim. This family trip, he says was an “eye- opener”.

“There’s a lot to appreciate and learn from the Sikkimese. The picture perfect place has made efficient and optimal use of land to make homes,” Rohokale told ETPanache.

The recently banned inorganic vegetables in this northeastern state and the way the Army and citizens coexist have made a lasting impact on the investment manager too.

“It just went on to show that in adversity, if you are disciplined, optimistic, realistic and spiritually inclined, you will find solutions,” he said.
