According to Shreya, Shiladitya takes care of several chores himself.

"I got lucky, I got this guy. He takes care of the whole house. He does not even… because he loves to live on his own terms, he will wash his own dishes, he will do kitchen cleaning. And he will be upset if I do it."

The singer explained that both of them have demanding work schedules, which makes sharing responsibilities important. Rather than treating household work as one person's duty, they tend to handle chores together whenever necessary.

Shreya also said that Shiladitya has never made her feel guilty about being away because of work. Her career can sometimes keep her away from home for months, but she said he has always been secure about their relationship and understood the demands of her profession.

The singer believes that the two are similar in the way they approach their marriage. Neither of them, she said, has an ego about these matters. She also described their child as the centre of their world.

Shreya's career began with her playback singing debut in Devdas in 2002. Over the last two decades, she has become one of India's most recognised voices and is also considered among the country's highest-paid singers.

He later ventured into entrepreneurship and founded two startups between 2013 and 2017. One of them was Pointshelf, a hyper-local mobile-based loyalty and payments platform. He also founded Hipcask, a smartphone application focused on wine.

Shiladitya has also explored the world of podcasts. In 2017, he hosted a podcast, adding another dimension to his professional journey beyond technology and startups.

His career eventually took him to Truecaller. In 2022, he joined the company as its Global Head of Business. Truecaller is widely known for its caller identification service and has millions of users around the world.

After joining the company, Shiladitya shared his excitement about beginning a new professional chapter and working on Truecaller's business offerings. His role involved working on products and services aimed at businesses and consumers, with a focus on safer and more trusted communication.

Shreya and Shiladitya's love story

For the unversed, Shreya and Shiladitya's relationship goes back several years. The two have reportedly known each other since childhood and have been acquainted for almost three decades. According to HT report, they began dating around the time Shreya was establishing herself professionally as a singer.

The relationship continued for around a decade before the couple decided to get married. Shreya and Shiladitya tied the knot in a traditional Bengali ceremony on February 5, 2015.

Six years later, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Devyaan, in 2021. They have largely kept their family life private while continuing to focus on their respective careers.

Shiladitya's professional journey has continued alongside Shreya's successful music career. According to Plantify, Shiladitya's estimated wealth at roughly twice that of the famous singer.
