Shreya Ghoshal's Mumbai home is a sight for sore eyes
Shreya Ghoshal is known as the vocal queen of India with many chartbusters across various industries under her belt. Recently, the music icon shared a glimpse of her palatial Mumbai home with fans and director-turned-YouTuber Farah Khan. The Mere Dholna Sun hitmaker’s home was designed in a contemporary fashion and had soft and soothing hues of beige, ivory, and earthy terracotta.

Cosy Living Room

The singer's house has a lot of wood components, which give the spaces a cosy, organic feel. Coffee tables with flowing, organic forms, a dramatic dining bench in place of a traditional dining table, wooden storage units, curved wooden entrances, and subtle photo frames are all included in the design. The earthy finishes and apparent wood grain give the rooms depth and complexity while producing a subtle, welcoming look.

Rounded Silhouettes Rule

One will notice that her home has plenty of rounded silhouettes, such as an ivory sectional sofa, terracotta lounge chairs, and round coffee tables, which give the space a cosy feel. There’s also a dash of colour through patterned cushions, textured rugs, and upholstered dining chairs.

An Elegant Boudoir

There’s a grand piano, which adds a touch of elegance. The balcony has a touch of green, as it is filled with planters.

White cabinets and a sleek black countertop complete the kitchen's design, while the backsplash's patterned tiles add colour to the otherwise muted colour scheme. The singer made Bengali-style bhetki, a traditional fish dish made with marinated fish wrapped in banana leaves and fried till soft, for the lunch gathering. Another highlight of the lavish lunch was Farah Khan's highly acclaimed roast chicken, which was included in the exquisite spread.

Lighting Gives The Home A Grand Touch

Warm, tender lighting, recessed ceiling lights, veined marble floors, elegant table lamps, and industrial-inspired pendant lights illuminate the dining space. This lighting creates a cosy, understated, and elegant atmosphere.
