She uses books and water bottles for added weight sometimes. "I do burpees with push-ups because it is a great warm-up that targets the upper body and core muscles. Shoulder press is something I do with bottles of water at home. These home shoulder presses have helped improve my shoulder strength. I hope to increase the number of pull-ups I can do once I get back to the gym," she said.

Erda also does squat pulses that after a few sets really makes one feel the burn in the legs. "Plank holds and variations to this are the forearm plank that helps build my core strength which I require a lot while racing. I also do lunges with steering wheel holds. This lunges with the steering wheel hold is the best way to end my workout because I feel the burn in my biceps, abs and legs," she ended.
