Shikhar Dhawan breaks silence on the viral post

He expressed disappointment over the way misinformation was being spread and urged people not to link him with statements he never made.In his clarifications, he took to X (formerly called Twitter) and wrote, "I have come across some posts on social media attributing a disappointing statement about my personal life. I have never carried baggage from the past, be it on the pitch or outside. I firmly believe in the power of positivity while respecting my past."
The cricketer also made a strong appeal against clickbait culture. He requested that social media users and content creators not use his name to push false or insensitive narratives for attention.
