From engineering student to actress

However, during her college years, she began experimenting with theatre and participated in a few stage plays. In an earlier interview with The Hindu, Priyanka recalled that she explored theatre simply to see if it could become an alternative career option. She explained that while she was studying in Bengaluru, she took part in a few plays and her parents were supportive of her interest in performing.
Her family background also played a role in shaping her identity. Priyanka’s mother is a Kannadiga and her father is Tamil, which helped her grow up speaking both Kannada and Tamil. Over time, she also started learning Telugu as she noticed similarities between the languages.

This opportunity eventually opened the doors to the film industry for her.Priyanka soon expanded her career into Tamil cinema as well. A major step with Netflix's Made in Korea

Priyanka explained that many women in the industry often get one film that can transform their career path. For her, Made in Korea feels like that important moment. She also said the experience of working on the project allowed her to learn a lot and explore new aspects of acting.
