In the teaser, the founders of Sonic Lamb confidently pitch their headphones, claiming they surpass boAt’s offerings in both price and audio quality. This bold claim, coupled with the tagline “Feel the music,” draws attention from the panel, particularly Aman Gupta. As the pitch unfolds, one of the sharks, Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director Namita Thapar, directly addresses the elephant in the room, questioning if Sonic Lamb is genuinely better than boAt.


The Sonic Lamb founders affirm their claim with confidence, prompting a sarcastic reaction from Gupta, whose expressions clearly reflect his displeasure. Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, adds fuel to the fire by questioning the audacity of Sonic Lamb to challenge a market leader at the same price point. The teaser ends with a provocative description: “Sonic Lamb makes you feel the music! But will the sharks feel the same way?”


Sonic Lamb is the brainchild of co-founders Jagath and Navajith, who turned their passion for music and innovation into a business venture. For Navajith, the journey began with childhood memories of listening to music on his father’s Japanese home theater system, fostering a deep appreciation for rich, immersive sound. His curiosity for electronics led him to spend countless hours tinkering with devices, while his academic path in mechanical engineering added a new layer of technical expertise.

At Sahyadri College of Engineering, Mangalore, fate brought together Navajith and Jagath, with shared interests in music and technology. Their collaboration blossomed as part of the “Dreamers” team, a student-led initiative that gave them opportunities to showcase their ideas on national platforms. With Sonic Lamb, the duo seeks to redefine how people experience music, promising not just sound but a sensory immersion.
