A strong believer in a strong foundation of talent, technology, and quality, Khemka’s focused approach, enthusiasm, and sincere efforts are the driving force behind his success.
Sharat Khemka, an ex-student of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, is a young dynamic businessman and a social entrepreneur whose achievements are worth admiring.

The director of Shudh Plus Hygiene Products Pvt Ltd, he has managed 15 different organisations across construction, infrastructure and real estate sectors.

As the co-founder of the Niine Foundation — a five-year plan aimed at raising awareness on the importance of menstrual hygiene and the urgent need to tackle the taboos associated with menstruation — he was the brains behind the launch of Niine Sanitary pads.

Niine aims to be the brand of choice for Indian women who seek affordable and quality personal hygiene solutions.

A strong believer in a strong foundation of talent, technology, and quality, Khemka’s focused approach, enthusiasm, and sincere efforts are the driving force behind his success. His ability to spot potential and take decisive actions to turn his plans into reality has made him a leader worth looking up to. Having started his journey as a small supplier of paan masala products, along with his father, Khemka slowly and steadily made his mark. And though many pointed to his lack of experience to run a business, he did not let the criticism deflect him from his chosen path.

Khemka modernised and systematised the management structure of the company. He opened new avenues and gave enormous heights to the trade. And much to the surprise of his detractors, the company made rapid progress under Khemka’s leadership.

The Elara Capital Economist thinks the Modi government’s second term is likely to be more challenging than the first with limited fiscal space amid compelling priorities and electoral promises. She also feels that the solution to these problems is complex, and requires a radical shift in the economic policy.

"The first five years of the government were dominated by housing, roads and toilets. We hope to see focus on investment, jobs and nursing of the dislocated financial sector in the next tenure. The Modi-led government must look at immediate priorities like taking measures to revive consumption, addressing financial sector dislocation by recapitalising PSU banks, boosting manufacturing sector to ensure job creation, and solving the conundrum of skill shortage in the country to ensure employability."

She further pointed out that the NDA is expected to gain majority in Rajya Sabha by 2022, which will enable them to pursue difficult legislations like Triple Talaq and electoral reforms which have been a part of its social agenda. From a portfolio positioning perspective, she recommended investment over consumption. In terms of asset class, she expects the small- and midcaps to outperform large caps.
