'Shamshera' poster drops on Ranbir Kapoor's birthday, says 'a legend will rise'

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film 'Shamshera' marked the actor's birthday by releasing a poster of the action movie.

The poster shows a glimpse of Kapoor's character, focussing on the eyes, and with the caption, "A legend will rise," along with the release date: March 18.

Kapoor is flaunting long locks and sports a mark on his forehead in the poster.


"The legend will leave his mark," the official Twitter account of Yash Raj Films - that has backed the project - tweeted along with the poster.


Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film will see the actor feature opposite Vaani Kapoor. It also stars Sanjay Dutt as the the nemesis to Kapoor's character.

On the work front, Kapoor also has 'Brahmastra' and 'Animal' lined-up.

He is currently in Jodhpur with actress-girlfriend Alia Bhatt to celebrate his 39th birthday.
