After a successful theatrical run, Vijay Antony’s intense political action thriller Shakthi Thirumagan is all set to storm the OTT space. The film, which hit theatres on September 19, 2025, received positive reviews for its gripping narrative, smart writing, and Antony’s commanding performance. Now, audiences who missed it on the big screen can finally catch it on JioHotstar starting October 24.

Directed and written by Arun Prabu, Shakthi Thirumagan dives deep into the murky world of political lobbying, corruption, and moral conflict. Vijay Antony stars as Kittu, a skilled mediator and fixer who navigates the chaotic corridors of Tamil Nadu politics. His job? Plot of the movie

Set in the murky world of Tamil Nadu politics, Shakthi Thirumagan follows Kittu, a sharp and morally conflicted lobby agent who navigates power deals between ministers, bureaucrats, and businessmen. Once an orphan with a tragic past, he secretly uses his ill-gotten gains to help the underprivileged while working under the influential Abhyankkar, unaware of their dark connection. When a high-profile land scam spirals into murder and betrayal, Kittu becomes the target of a massive investigation. As hidden truths about his past and Abhyankkar’s empire begin to surface, Kittu turns from mediator to rebel, waging a battle against corruption, politics, and his own haunting history — leading to a gripping, unpredictable showdown.


Besides headlining the film, Vijay Antony also composed the background score and produced it under his banner, Vijay Antony Film Corporation. The supporting cast includes Sunil Kripalani, Trupthi Ravindra, Krish Hassan, Vagai Chandrasekhar, and Cell Murugan.
