Shahid Kapoor's 'tufty' bed

It was a glitzy opening night for Simone Arora of D’Decor fame, when she launched her eponymous home furnishings store on September 26. Her team spread out across the store equipped with tablets, ready to take questions and orders. The prospective buyer that drew excitement was actor Shahid Kapoor.

Apparently, he’s buying the tufty bed by B&B Italia that is priced at Rs 6.5 - 7 lakh. As we overheard, "At least now you know what bed Shahid sleeps on!"

The dampener to the evening came early on. Maharashtra’s now ex-CM Prithviraj Chavan was supposed to cut the red ribbon but resigned from the position earlier in the day and decided to skip the event.

Doubt that bothered the celeb guests who sauntered in fashionably late, on their own schedule.
